Open Education: Identifying the key benefits of for UCL

UCL is raising awareness of Open Education and has established a project to embed open educational practice across UCL through a three-pronged approach:
  1. The launch of a repository dedicated to storing, sharing, and showcasing the university’s academic and student-generated open educational resources (OER)
  2. Developing policy around Open Education at UCL
  3. Expanding the practice of Open Education across UCL through a programme of engagement
We are conducting a small study on the benefits of Open Education which will inform the message that we deliver to the UCL community.

We are interested in finding out:
  • What you think of Open Education
  • What you think is important to UCL staff and students regarding Open Education
  • What would motivate you to become more involved in Open Education practices
We would appreciate if you could answer the questions which follow; these will advise our initial engagement and outreach materials and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete.
